January 2024 CTET Exam Online Application Form for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is scheduled to conduct the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) for the January 2024 session. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria and wish to appear for this exam can submit their applications online from November 3, 2023, to November 23, 2023. CBSE CTET January 2024 Exam Eligibility Code Details
CTET Primary Level (Class I to V) Eligibility with Code
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education
  • OrSenior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education as per NCTE 2002 Norms
  • Or Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)
  • Or Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education)
  • Or Bachelor Degree Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) (a) who has acquired the qualification or Bachelor of Education from any NCTE recognized institution shall be considered for appointment as a teacher in classes I to V provided the person so appointed as a teacher shall mandatorily undergo a six-month Bridge Course in Elementary Education recognized by the NCTE within two years of such appointment as a primary teacher
  • Or Post-Graduation with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade and passed or appearing in the final year of a three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.
CTET Junior Level (Class VI to VIII) Eligibility with Code
  • Bachelor Degree and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
  • Or at least 50% marks either in Graduation or in Post-Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
  • Or graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in a 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE Norms.
  • Or senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
  • Or senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
  • Or graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. / (B.Ed Special Education).
  • Or any candidate having qualified B.Ed. Programme recognized by the NCTE is eligible to appear in TET/CTET.
  • Or moreover, as per the existing TET guidelines circulated vide NCTE letter dated 11-02-2011, a person who is pursuing any of the teacher education courses (recognized by the NCTE or the RCI, as the case may be) specified in the NCTE Notification dated 23rd August 2010 is also qualified to appear in the TET/CTET.
  • Or post-Graduation with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade and passed or appearing in the final year of a three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.

How to Filling CTET January 2024 Exam Form

  • Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) for Paper I to V & VI to VIII in 2023.
  • Candidates can apply online from 03/11/2023 to 23/11/2023.
  • Note: This year, the number of exam centers is limited in every city. Candidates will see this information live while filling out the form. To secure your nearest exam center/city, apply as soon as possible, as slots are limited.
  • Before applying, candidates should read the notification for the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) application form in Central TET CTET Exam Latest Online Form 2024.
  • Ensure that you have collected all the required documents, including eligibility documents, ID proof, address details, and basic information.
  • Prepare scan documents related to the recruitment form, such as a photo, signature, and ID proof.
